The mission here at Tsontakis Law is to help you focus your wealth-preservation strategy on independence from governments so that economic and political disruptions won’t affect your family’s well-being.
You can secure your family’s independence for generations, if you design the right blueprint and have the drive to build out your independence infrastructure.
Tsontakis Law is the only law firm that puts money management, international asset protection, and generational wealth-building in the broader context of absolute — yet practical and achievable — independence. It’s a total paradigm shift.
But how did we get here?
Anthony Tsontakis began his legal career over a decade ago at the age of 27 as a self-employed Election Law attorney. Having recognized the absence of a legal brand that addressed the needs of the modern, politically-active citizen, Anthony launched a boutique Election Law practice dedicated to the invigoration of democracy.
His rise in Arizona's Election Law field was meteoric. Clients appreciated Anthony's raw energy and relentless confidence. The business immediately took off as Anthony represented local politicians being pushed around by power players who took themselves to be above the law, sued the government on behalf of citizens in public interest cases, and documented the whole thing on social media and in published editorials.
A mere nine months into his career, Anthony found himself enmeshed in Arizona's biggest political controversy of 2011 — the recall of then-Senate President Russell Pearce. The case was all over the local news in addition to the coverage for a national audience provided by the New York Times. The Arizona Capitol Times memorialized Tsontakis's legal work in its 2011 "Year in Review" series — describing the case as one of Arizona's key political moments of the year and crediting Anthony Tsontakis for "hammer[ing] on one main point — that the government has no business inquiring into people’s political associations and motivations."
In all, the year 2011 — Tsontakis's first year as a legal professional — saw Tsontakis Law in the news, in print and on television, well over 50 times, or for an average of more than once every week for the year — an unprecedented feat for a rookie attorney, and one that cemented Anthony's brand as a genuine force to be reckoned with.
In 2012, on the heels of an unprecedented year as an election attorney, Anthony realized that there was also an opportunity to have a more permanent impact, and so he closed his law practice to temporarily focus on legal and historical scholarship. At the same time, he accepted an offer to work as an attorney for the Arizona State Legislature in a nonpartisan capacity, where he spent his off-hours performing archival and scholarly research into unexplored areas of legal and political history.
Less than a year later, Anthony had two scholarly papers relating to Arizona's early constitutional history published, which made use of archival materials never before studied by historians or legal scholars. He has since published several more scholarly articles and editorials on politics, history, and the constitution, has been invited to speak on the subjects of his work, and has been interviewed several times on his research.
Meanwhile, Anthony spent over eight years working as a constitutional attorney for the Arizona State Legislature, where the main thrust of his work involved the analysis of the limits of government powers in real-world contexts. In other words, Tsontakis's mind was professionally-focused on this constitutional question for almost a decade: What are the legal limits of the government's power in a given situation?
This type of thinking lends itself almost perfectly to the development of international income tax and asset protection strategies, because a government's power to tax and otherwise come after your property has legal limits. It follows that if you know what those limits are, property can be strategically — and legally — deployed internationally to avoid the reach of as many government authorities and private parties as possible.
Accordingly, this latest iteration of Tsontakis Law has been established because Anthony has recognized the absence of a legal brand that addresses the needs of the modern, international, and generationally-minded citizen, and has thus re-launched Tsontakis Law as a boutique practice dedicated to the strategic preservation and growth of family wealth.
Again, Tsontakis Law is the only law firm that puts money management, international asset protection, and generational wealth-building in the broader context of absolute — yet practical and achievable — independence. It’s a total paradigm shift.
